About this guide
This independent living guide was created by the families of SAIL, a nonprofit started in 2019 by parents who wanted safe, supportive independent living options for their adult children with developmental disabilities.
We partnered with SAIL in 2026, to learn from their experiences and provide a home for their independent living guide as they closed their operations.
