Our history
On My Own of Michigan is a nonprofit dedicated to making independent living possible for people with developmental disabilities. Founded by parents of young adults with developmental disabilities in 1997, we help more than 100 individuals with autism, Down syndrome and other cognitive impairments achieve and maintain independence each year.
